Zanzibar LED Wall Light With Wireless Charger & Switch 3W 3000K - Sand White

The Zanzibar is a compact LED wall light with an adjustable reading arm and an integrated wireless phone charging pad built into its horizontal shelf. The fitting measures 120mm wide by 200mm high and projects 170mm from the wall, finished in a matte sand white coating with a lightly textured surface. The upper reading arm rotates on a pivot joint to direct a narrow 30° beam of 3000K warm white light, while the horizontal shelf below houses a Qi-compatible wireless charger capable of charging most modern smartphones placed directly on its surface.

Designed for bedside installation where task lighting and phone charging are both needed within arm's reach, the Zanzibar eliminates the need for separate bedside table lamps and charging cables. The reading arm can be angled towards a pillow or turned towards a book held in hand, while the charging pad handles overnight phone charging without requiring a cable to be plugged in. The small on/off switch sits recessed into the backplate, within reach of someone lying in bed but unobtrusive to the fitting's flat profile.

The 3W integrated LED produces 210 lumens at 3000K, which provides enough light for reading without spilling excessive brightness into the rest of the bedroom. The 30° beam angle keeps the light concentrated in a defined area rather than flooding the wall. The sand white finish has a chalky matte texture that reduces glare when the light is switched on and pairs well with off-white, cream, light grey and natural wood bedroom colour schemes. The wireless charger works with iPhone 8 and later, most Samsung Galaxy models from 2017 onwards, and other Qi-compatible devices.

Does the wireless charger work with phone cases?

Most Qi-compatible phones charge through cases up to approximately 3mm thick. Thicker cases, metal cases, or cases with card holders may prevent charging and should be removed.

Can the reading arm be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The reading arm rotates on a pivot joint, allowing the light direction to be adjusted by hand. The joint holds the arm in position once set but can be repositioned as needed.

Is the light bright enough for reading?

The 3W LED produces 210 lumens in a 30° beam, which provides concentrated task light suitable for reading in bed or close-range tasks. It is not designed as ambient room lighting.

What height should it be installed at?

For bedside use, the horizontal charging shelf is typically installed 500-700mm above mattress height, placing it within comfortable reach while lying down and allowing the reading arm to direct light towards the pillow area.
