The Wrinkle clip-on lampshade in olive is an 8/13cm diameter x 13cm height shade made from gathered fabric that creates a textured, wrinkled surface across the entire cone. The shade clips directly onto candle-style bulbs without needing a separate fitting or adapter, making it compatible with wall sconces, small chandeliers and decorative table lamps that use exposed bulb holders.

Designed for accent lighting rather than task lighting, the shade suits bedside wall lights, hallway sconces, dining room chandeliers with multiple arms, and decorative table lamps where a softer, diffused light is needed. The clip-on mechanism grips E14 and SES candle bulbs securely, holding the shade in place without additional hardware. The 40W maximum rating allows the shade to be used with low-wattage incandescent, halogen or LED candle bulbs.

The olive fabric is a mid-tone green with warm brown undertones, sitting between sage and khaki. The gathered construction creates irregular vertical folds that catch and scatter light unevenly, producing a subtle play of shadow and texture when the bulb is lit. The internal lining ensures the gathered folds remain visible as texture rather than becoming translucent hotspots, maintaining an even light quality across the shade surface. At 70g the shade is light enough not to tip smaller wall sconces forward when clipped onto the bulb.

What bulbs does this clip onto?

The shade clips directly onto E14 (SES) and standard candle-style bulb holders. It grips the bulb itself, not the lamp base, so the bulb must be a candle or small golf-ball shape for the clip to seat properly.

Can it be used on LED bulbs?

Yes. The 40W maximum rating applies to incandescent and halogen bulbs. LED candle bulbs generate far less heat, so a 4-6W LED is well within safe operating limits and will not damage the fabric.

Is the fabric washable?

The gathered fabric is not designed to be washed in water, as the wrinkled texture is set during manufacture and may relax if soaked. Dust can be removed with a soft brush or by gently vacuuming on low power with an upholstery attachment.
