The Wraymoor wall light holds a slim clear glass shade in a bright nickel frame, giving a lantern shape that stays close to the wall. It stands 335mm tall, 110mm wide and projects just 185mm, so it fits corridors, stairs and narrow walls where a wider wall sconce would be in the way. One E14 small screw fit lamp at 6W lights the glass, and since the shade is clear the lamp is on view, so a small filament style LED suits it. The fitting is dimmable when paired with a dimmable lamp and a compatible dimmer switch.

Wall lights do the quiet work in a house: lighting a hallway at low level, flanking a bed or a mirror, marking the turn of a staircase or adding a warm point beside a fireplace. At 0.7kg this one is light enough for straightforward fixing, and the short projection means it will not catch shoulders in a passage.
