Description

The Worvarne is a slim rectangular LED panel light for the ceiling. It is 57cm long, 30cm wide and just 3cm deep, with a white plastic frame and a white plastic diffuser. The LEDs are integrated and give out 2,580lm across a colour temperature range of 2700 to 6500K, and a colour-changing glow spreads around the edges onto the ceiling. It is rated IP44, which means it is protected from splashing water, so it can go in a bathroom as well as a hallway or kitchen; a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone.

Because it sits so close to the ceiling, the panel suits rooms with lower ceilings where a pendant would get in the way: a hallway, a landing, a kitchen or a home office. The broad, even light from the face makes it a good main light, and the coloured glow from behind the frame adds mood once the day's work is done. Cool white at 6500K helps when you are cooking or reading the post, and warm white at 2700K settles a room for the evening. It is a smart light that works with an app and with smart home setups, so you can change the colour, brightness and warmth from the app.

The body and diffuser are both plastic, and the LEDs and driver are not replaceable, so the panel is one complete unit rather than a fitting that takes bulbs. It is dimmable, and it works with a remote control, sold separately.
