Description

Worvarne is a round, slim LED flush ceiling light with a black plastic frame around a white plastic diffuser. It measures 50cm across and sits just 3.2cm deep, so it keeps a neat, low profile even where the ceiling is low. The LEDs are integrated and give 2,900lm, a generous output for the main light in a room. It carries an IP44 rating, which means it is protected from splashing water, so it is just as at home in a kitchen as in a living room.

We see it as a main light for a living room, bedroom, hallway or kitchen, and the IP44 rating means it can also go in a bathroom; a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone. The colour temperature runs from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so the same fitting gives a soft, cosy glow in the evening and crisp, bright light for cooking or getting ready in the morning. It is colour changing as well, for a splash of colour on a party night or a film night, and it is dimmable, so one light covers every hour of the day.

You control it from an app, and it fits into a smart home setup. It also works with a remote control, but the remote is sold separately and does not come in the box. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, and the settings are handled through the app. The LED and driver are not replaceable, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It runs on 220-240V mains, weighs 2.5KG and has an energy class of D. Like any wired-in light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download.
