Description

This oval photo frame pairs a warm brown wood effect with a little gold bird perched on its top edge, bringing a small touch of the garden to a shelf or sideboard. It is made from resin, with a grained, gently brushed surface that has the look of natural timber and a raised inner edge that circles the picture in a soft oval. We offer it in two sizes: one holds a 6 x 4in photograph and the other a 7 x 5in print. Both share the same oval shape, brown finish and gold bird, so they sit well side by side.

An oval frame with a bird on top suits a quiet corner of the home: a hallway console, a bookcase, a dressing table or a sitting room windowsill. The soft brown tone sits happily alongside cream walls, natural linen and green plants, while the gold bird catches the light. It makes a thoughtful new home gift, ready for a moving day photograph, a family portrait or a favourite snapshot from a country walk. Choose the 6 x 4in size for everyday prints, or the 7 x 5in size where a picture deserves a little more room.

A strut at the back lets the frame stand upright on any flat surface, so it needs no wall and no fixings. The brown wood effect finish runs around the whole rim, and the bird is finished in gold for a gentle contrast with it. Care is simple: dust it with a soft dry cloth, and wipe the rim with a slightly damp cloth if needed, drying it straight away. Use a soft cloth around the bird to keep its gold bright. For a gift, slip a printed photograph inside before you wrap it, and it is ready to go straight onto a mantelpiece.

Frequently Asked

What sizes does this oval photo frame come in?

We offer it in two sizes. One holds a 6 x 4in photograph and the other holds a 7 x 5in print, and both have the same oval shape and gold bird.

What is the frame made of?

The frame is made from resin with a brown wood effect finish. This gives it the warm, grained look of timber, and a small gold bird sits on top.

Does the frame stand on a shelf?

Yes. A strut at the back lets it stand upright on a shelf, mantelpiece, dresser or bedside table, so it needs no wall space and no fixings.

Will my photograph show as an oval?

Yes. The opening is oval, so your 6 x 4in or 7 x 5in print shows through a soft oval window. This suits portraits and close-up pictures well.

How do I clean the frame?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth. If it needs more, wipe it gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away, taking care around the gold bird.

Is it a good gift for someone moving house?

It makes a thoughtful new home gift. Slip a favourite photograph inside before wrapping and it is ready to stand in their front room.
