Description

The Wolmora is a ceiling fan with a light set into its hub, finished in matt white from the canopy to the tips of its curving blades. The body is ABS, the blades span 132cm in diameter and the whole fitting is 29.5cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling. At the centre, a milky acrylic shade covers an integrated 16W LED that gives 2,100lm, enough to light the room as well as move the air in it. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

With that 132cm span, the Wolmora suits a generous living room, a bedroom or an open-plan space, where a single fitting can take the place of a central pendant and keep the air moving as well. On a warm evening the 5 speeds let you choose anything from a gentle drift of air to a proper breeze. The light is dimmable and gives a choice of 3000K, 4000K and 5000K, so you can have a warm white for quiet evenings, a neutral white for everyday living and a crisper, cooler white whenever you are reading or working. Bring the light low at bedtime and leave the fan turning.

A remote control comes in the box, and the fan is controlled by it, so you can make changes from your chair. The fan is also reversible, so the blades can turn in either direction. The body is matt white ABS and the shade milky acrylic, which keeps the look clean and plain against a white or pale ceiling. It weighs 7.866KG packed, and as a wired-in mains fitting it is installed by a qualified electrician; the installation instructions come as a download.
