Description

The Wisteria is a 1200mm linear crystal suspension light with 16 E14 bulb positions arranged along a polished nickel oval frame, from which cascades of clear crystal buttons hang in tiered clusters. Each bulb sits behind a curtain of faceted crystal, diffusing the light through the layers of glass and throwing refracted patterns onto surrounding walls and ceilings.

Designed for dining tables 1.8-2.4m long and kitchen islands over 2m, the linear footprint distributes light evenly along the length of the surface beneath. The 1200mm x 360mm frame suits ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, with the drop adjustable between 550mm and 1930mm during installation to match ceiling height and table position. The polished nickel finish reflects ambient light, adding brightness to the fixture even when unlit.

At 21.1kg, the Wisteria requires a structural ceiling fixing point capable of supporting the combined weight of the fitting, crystal, and 16 bulbs. The metal frame is constructed from nickel-plated steel, with each crystal button hand-strung onto steel wires that attach to arched arms extending from the central canopy. The tiered arrangement means crystals near the top sit higher than those at the edges, creating depth and movement when viewed from different angles in the room.

The fixture uses 16 E14 small Edison screw bulbs (sold separately), each rated up to 20W. Pairing with LED candle or golf ball bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) gives a warmer tone through the crystal, while daylight (4000K-5000K) LEDs produce a cooler, more contemporary effect. Dimming requires both dimmable bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch installed on the lighting circuit.
