Description

The Kichler Winslow is a single-light wall fitting with a cylindrical seeded glass shade mounted on a natural brass backplate and arm. The glass cylinder measures approximately 100mm in diameter and features fine seed bubbles throughout the material that scatter light when the bulb is lit. The fitting takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately) and projects 165mm from the wall once installed.

Designed for hallways, bathroom vanities, bedside positions and reading corners, the Winslow provides directed light through the open top and bottom of the glass cylinder while the seeded texture softens the bulb's appearance when viewed from the side. The 235mm overall height suits standard ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m, positioning the light at typical eye level when mounted 1.5-1.7m from floor level. The circular backplate covers a standard single-gang electrical box and the arm extends the shade forward to provide clearance over architraves and door frames.

The natural brass finish shows a warm golden tone with visible grain marks from the metalworking process, giving each fitting slight tonal variation depending on how light catches the surface. The brass will develop a patina over time unless regularly polished. The seeded glass is hand-blown, so bubble distribution differs slightly between individual pieces. The combined metal and glass construction gives the fitting a solid presence on the wall without overwhelming narrow hallways or smaller bathrooms.
