Description

The Willow is a clip-on lampshade measuring 8cm at the top rim, 13cm at the base and 11cm in height, made from white pleated fabric with a silver trim at both edges. The shade clips directly onto the candle bulb itself rather than requiring a separate lampshade carrier, making it compatible with most chandelier arms and wall lights fitted with E14 or similar candle bulbs.

Designed for chandeliers, candelabra-style wall lights and multi-arm ceiling lights where each bulb needs its own shade, the Willow suits fittings with multiple arms where consistent shading softens the glare of exposed bulbs. The clip mechanism fits bulbs with a maximum 40W rating and grips the bulb body below the threaded neck, holding the shade securely without needing screws or fixings.

The white pleated fabric diffuses light evenly while the vertical pleats give the shade a structured silhouette rather than collapsing when handled or heated. The silver trim at top and base adds a metallic accent that pairs with chrome, nickel or crystal chandelier finishes. At 100g the shade is light enough to fit onto wall-mounted arms without unbalancing the fitting.

How does the shade attach to the bulb?

What bulb types does it fit?

The clip fits most E14 candle bulbs and similar shapes up to 40W. LED candle bulbs rated 4-6W (equivalent to 25-40W incandescent) work well and generate less heat than halogen alternatives.

Can it be used on a standard table lamp?

This shade is designed for clip-on use with candle bulbs on chandeliers and wall lights. It will not fit standard E27 bulbs or bayonet caps. For table lamps, look for shades with a carrier ring or gimbal fitting.

How is the fabric cleaned?

Remove dust with a soft brush or dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth can be used on the fabric surface, but avoid soaking the pleats or leaving the shade wet. Do not immerse in water.
