The IP23 rating protects against vertically falling rain and light spray, making it suitable for covered locations but not fully exposed positions.

No. The IP23 rating protects against vertically falling rain and light spray, making the Wexford suitable for covered positions such as under eaves, porch canopies and sheltered doorways. For fully exposed walls facing weather, look for IP44 or IP65 rated alternatives.

What bulb does it take?

The Wexford takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 4-8W and 2200K-2700K to suit the traditional lantern style.
