Description

The Wernarne Table Lamp is a compact cylinder of wood in a brown finish, with the natural grain running from top to bottom and the bulb holder set into the top so the bulb itself becomes the shade. It stands 10cm tall and measures 8.5cm in diameter, small enough for a crowded bedside table or a narrow shelf. It takes a standard E27 bulb of up to 28W, which is not included, so the choice of light is yours. With an IP20 rating it is made for indoor, dry rooms, so keep it well away from bathrooms and the garden.

Because there is no shade, the bulb you fit is the whole look, which makes this lamp a natural partner for a decorative globe or filament bulb. We like it on a bedside table, a living room shelf, a hallway console or a desk in a home office, anywhere a small, low light is wanted rather than a bright overhead one. The wood brings an earthy warmth that sits well beside linen, rattan, houseplants and pale timber furniture.
