Description

This grey wedding keepsake box gives the cards, tokens and little treasures of the day one tidy place to live. Its lid is printed with the words "Our Wedding Keepsakes", and a flowing script along the front edge reads "The best is yet to come". It measures 26.8cm along its longer side, 20cm along its shorter side and 6.8cm deep. Lift the lid and you find four small slide-out boxes labelled "something blue", "love tokens", "treasured memories" and "precious keepsakes", in pale greys and white with one in soft blush pink. Beside them rest a grey book titled "Memories of Our Special Day", with a small leaf sprig on its cover, and a little grey drawstring pouch printed "Wedding Treasures".

Inside the lid, a printed panel reads "The happy couple:" and "Date:", each with a line to write on, and a small white envelope is fixed beneath for a note, a vow card or a pressed flower. Under it runs the line "One of life's greatest gifts is a love story". It makes a thoughtful wedding gift, whether given on the day itself or a few weeks later, once there are order of service sheets, confetti, a garter or a cake topper to keep safe. At home it sits happily on a bookshelf, a dressing table or the top of a wardrobe in the bedroom, ready to be lifted down whenever you want to look back.

The box has a printed finish in soft grey, and its inside is divided so every piece has its own space, with the small boxes in a row, the pouch below them and the book alongside. Each small box opens like a matchbox, its tray sliding out of the sleeve. Dust with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from damp. We like to tuck a handwritten note into the envelope before giving it.
