Description
The Waverly is a 3-light chandelier built around three curved brass arms rising from a central stem, each arm terminating in a clear seeded glass shade housing an E27 bulb (sold separately). The natural brass finish is unlacquered, allowing the metal to develop a patina over time, though it can be polished back to its original tone if preferred. The 560mm diameter fits dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls without dominating the space.
Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Waverly drop is adjustable from 717mm to 2575mm on installation by shortening the 1915mm chain. For a dining table, the chandelier typically hangs 750-850mm above the surface, placing the light source at eye level when seated without obstructing sightlines across the table. The ceiling rose measures 140mm diameter and fits standard UK ceiling fixings.
The seeded glass shades contain small air bubbles trapped in the glass during manufacture, creating a subtle texture that diffuses light without fully obscuring the bulb filament. Each shade measures approximately 120mm tall and 90mm wide at the rim, large enough to accommodate decorative filament LED bulbs if you want the bulb itself to be part of the aesthetic. The brass arms curve outward and upward from the central column, giving the chandelier a vertical profile rather than a flat horizontal spread, which suits narrower dining tables and galley kitchens where a wide fitting would feel unbalanced.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Waverly take?
The chandelier takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. The seeded glass shades suit decorative filament bulbs in warm white (2700K), where the bulb itself becomes part of the design.
Is the natural brass finish lacquered?
No. The natural brass is unlacquered, so it will develop a patina over time as the metal oxidises. This darkening is characteristic of natural brass and can be polished back to the original tone using brass cleaner if you prefer the lighter finish.
What ceiling height is needed?
The minimum drop of 717mm means the chandelier hangs approximately 1.3m below the ceiling at its shortest setting. For a dining table installation where the chandelier sits 750-850mm above the table, you need a ceiling height of at least 2.4m. Higher ceilings allow the full chain length to be used.
Can the chain be shortened after installation?
The chain length is set during installation by removing links before the final connection is made. Once installed, adjusting the drop requires turning off the power, removing the chandelier from the ceiling rose, and re-threading the chain and cable. It is not adjustable without removing the fitting.
