Description

The Wave is a 1460mm linear LED pendant light built around a single continuous strip of matt white painted metal housing an integrated 16W LED. An opal polycarbonate diffuser runs the full length of the fitting, softening the 3000K light output and eliminating visible hotspots or individual LED points.

Designed for installation over kitchen islands, dining tables and office desks where direct overhead task light is needed, the Wave suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. The 20mm profile keeps the fitting visually light despite its 1.46m length, and the transparent PVC suspension cable allows the fitting to appear to float rather than hang heavily. The white finish integrates quietly into white or light-coloured ceilings while still providing clear definition of the illuminated zone below.

The matt painted metal body conceals the LED driver and wiring inside the housing, so there are no external ballast boxes or visible electronics. The 16W integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated IP20 for dry indoor use only. At 1460mm the Wave suits kitchen islands of 1800-2400mm length or dining tables seating 6-8, mounted 700-800mm above the worktop or table surface depending on ceiling height. Is the Wave dimmable?

No. The integrated 16W LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light output is fixed at full brightness when the fitting is powered on.

What length island or table does it suit?

At 1460mm the Wave works over kitchen islands of 1800-2400mm or dining tables seating 6-8. For longer islands or tables, two or more Wave fittings can be installed in parallel runs.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the Wave is suitable for dry indoor areas only. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any zone where water spray or condensation is present.

How is the suspension height adjusted?

The transparent PVC cable can be shortened during installation by an electrician. Once installed the height is fixed and cannot be adjusted without re-fitting.
