Description
The Wave is a 1460mm linear LED pendant light with an integrated 16W LED running the full length of a matt black metal frame. An opal polycarbonate diffuser spans the underside of the frame, turning the entire 1.46m length into a continuous strip of warm 3000K light. The rosette, frame and cable are all matt black powder-coated metal, giving a monochrome profile when viewed from below.
Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables and workbenches where linear task light or ambient wash is needed, the Wave works best in spaces 3-5m long where a single fitting can provide even light distribution without needing multiple pendants. The suspension cables allow the height to be adjusted on installation, typically hung 700-900mm above a worktop or table surface. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.
The 20mm profile keeps the fitting visually light despite the 1460mm length, and the matt black finish absorbs surrounding light rather than reflecting it, which helps the fitting recede into dark or neutral ceilings. The opal diffuser softens the LED strip inside, eliminating visible hotspots and creating a continuous band of light along the full length. The integrated 16W LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable, rated for approximately 30,000 hours of use.

Frequently Asked
Is the Wave dimmable?
No. The integrated 16W LED is non-dimmable and operates on standard 230V mains without requiring a dimmer switch or driver adjustment.
What length of table or island does this suit?
The 1460mm length works best above kitchen islands or dining tables between 1.4m and 1.8m long, providing even light distribution without leaving dark spots at the ends. For longer surfaces, consider using two Wave fittings spaced evenly.
Can the LED be replaced when it fails?
No. The LED is integrated into the frame and cannot be replaced. The LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of use, which equates to roughly 10 years of typical domestic use at 8 hours per day.
What rooms can this be used in?
The IP20 rating means the Wave is suitable for dry indoor spaces only. It works well in kitchens, dining rooms, home offices and hallways, but cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas where moisture is present.
