Description

The Vosmarne is a set of three round recessed downlights in satin nickel, each with a brushed steel bezel and a clear glass cover over the lamp. Each light is 8.5cm across and needs a 6.8cm cut-out with 7cm of depth in the ceiling void, so only a slim ring of metal shows once it is fitted. Each one takes a GU10 lamp, given at 4W, 400 lumens per light and a warm 2700K. The set carries both IP20 and IP44 ratings, and the bezel itself is marked IP44, so the face is protected from splashing water.

A set of three suits a hallway, a kitchen or a living room where you want even light spread across the ceiling rather than a single central pendant. The warm 2700K glow sits comfortably alongside table lamps in the evening, and matching downlights spaced in a line give a tidy, uncluttered ceiling. With the IP44 face, we would also suggest them for a bathroom, where a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone. Satin nickel is a soft, brushed silver that pairs well with chrome taps, stainless steel appliances and grey or white walls.

The body is steel and the lamp sits behind a clear glass cover, and spring clips on each light hold it up against the ceiling. There is no switch on the lights themselves; they are switched at the wall, so your existing light switch controls them. They run on mains power at 220-240V and, as a wired-in light, should be installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions come as a download, and the packed weight is 0.6KG. Before you order, check that your ceiling void gives at least 7cm of depth for each light.
