Description
The Vosmarne is a set of three round recessed downlights. Each has a black steel body and a clear glass cover across the front. Each light is 8.5cm wide, so the ring that shows on the ceiling stays small and neat. Every downlight takes a GU10 bulb and is rated at 4W. It gives 400lm per light at a colour temperature of 2700K, a warm light that suits evenings at home. The rating reads IP20 and IP44, and we recommend these downlights for dry rooms indoors.
Recessed into the ceiling, they sit almost flush, so the room keeps clean lines while the light pours straight into it. A set of three suits a hallway, a landing, a bedroom, a kitchen or a living room. The black ring gives a crisp outline against a white or pale ceiling. Spaced along a wall, they wash it with warm light, which brings out pictures, shelves and textured paint. With no switch on the light itself, the whole set runs from a wall switch, so there is nothing new to learn.
The body is steel, finished in black, with the clear glass cover guarding the bulb at the front and sprung clips at each side. Each light runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. The packed set weighs 0.6KG. Before you order, check the ceiling: each downlight needs a round hole 6.8cm wide and 7cm of depth in the void above it.
