Vivienne 6 Light Crystal Chandelier Semi-Flush - Polished Nickel 60cm

The Vivienne is a 600mm diameter crystal chandelier with six E14 bulb fittings arranged on curved polished nickel arms that radiate from a central column. Each arm holds a ring of rectangular-cut crystal prisms that refract and scatter light when the bulbs are lit. The fixture can be mounted as a semi-flush ceiling light with a 740mm minimum drop, or suspended as a traditional chandelier with the included chain extending the drop to 1690mm maximum.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Vivienne suits rooms of approximately 15-20m² where a 600mm fitting provides presence without overwhelming the space. When mounted semi-flush in lower-ceilinged rooms (2.2-2.4m), the 740mm drop positions the crystal prisms approximately 1.5m from the floor, keeping the fixture out of direct sightlines. When suspended over a dining table, the adjustable chain allows the chandelier to sit 700-800mm above the table surface regardless of ceiling height.

The polished nickel finish on the metalwork provides a cooler-toned alternative to brass or bronze finishes and pairs with both contemporary and traditional interiors. Each of the six arms curves downward before turning upward to hold the crystal-ringed sconce, giving the fixture a balanced symmetry when viewed from below. The rectangular crystal prisms are cut with facets that catch and split ambient daylight as well as the bulb light, creating moving reflections across walls and ceilings as people move through the room. At 7.5kg fully assembled, the chandelier requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or support noggin.

What bulbs does the Vivienne take?

The chandelier uses six E14 small Edison screw bulbs (candle bulbs) up to 20W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for ambient dining room light.

Can it be fitted as a semi-flush ceiling light?

Yes. The Vivienne can be mounted as a semi-flush fitting with a 740mm minimum drop from ceiling to base, or suspended on the included chain to a maximum drop of 1690mm. This makes it suitable for both standard 2.4m ceilings and taller rooms where a longer drop is preferred.

Is the Vivienne dimmable?

The fixture itself is dimmable-compatible when fitted with dimmable E14 LED or halogen bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

How is the crystal cleaned?

The rectangular crystal prisms can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth while the chandelier is switched off and cool. For deeper cleaning, individual prisms can be carefully unhooked from their metal rings, washed in warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, rinsed and dried before re-hanging.
