Vivienne 4 Light Crystal Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - French Gold

The Vivienne is a 500mm semi-flush ceiling light with four E14 bulb holders mounted inside a drum of faceted rectangular crystals, supported by a French gold metal frame with four curved arms. The crystals are cut to refract light across multiple planes, creating layered reflections when the bulbs are lit. The French gold finish on the frame and canopy brings a warm metallic tone that sits between polished brass and antique gold.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.8m where a full pendant drop would be too low, the Vivienne works in dining rooms, entrance halls, principal bedrooms and living rooms needing both ambient and decorative light. The 290mm overall height including canopy means the fitting projects approximately 250mm below the ceiling rose once installed, leaving clearance for normal movement underneath while keeping the crystals visible from seated and standing positions.

Each of the four curved arms rises from a central hub to meet the outer crystal drum at evenly spaced points around the circumference, giving the fitting radial symmetry when viewed from below. The rectangular crystals are mounted vertically in two rings around the drum perimeter, with the facets catching light from the central bulbs and scattering it outwards through the room. At 6.95kg the fitting requires a ceiling rose capable of supporting semi-flush weights and should be fitted to a joist or noggin rather than plasterboard alone.

The French gold finish pairs with warm whites, creams, soft greys and traditional wood finishes. Can the crystals be removed for cleaning?

The crystals are fixed to the metal drum frame and are not designed to be removed individually. To clean, switch off at the mains and wipe the crystals gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used, but avoid soaking the metal frame.

Is it dimmable?
