Description

The Vivienne is a 50cm four-light chandelier built around a French gold metal frame supporting a circular ring of rectangular crystal prisms. Four E14 candelabra bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the crystal ring on upward-facing arms, with each bulb surrounded by cut glass that refracts and multiplies the light output. The French gold finish is a warm, medium-toned brass with a subtle satin sheen rather than mirror-polish.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m, the Vivienne can be installed as a semi-flush fitting with a minimum 670mm drop from ceiling to base, or suspended on the adjustable chain to a maximum 1630mm drop. Semi-flush installation suits bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms in period conversions or smaller new-build properties where ceiling height is limited. Suspended installation works over dining tables or in entrance halls with higher ceilings. The 50cm diameter and 2.6kg weight allow the fitting to be supported by standard UK ceiling roses without additional bracing.

Each crystal prism is precision-cut with bevelled edges that catch ambient daylight when the chandelier is unlit, so the fitting acts as a decorative feature even before bulbs are installed. The French gold frame pairs with warm-toned interiors, oak furniture and cream or neutral wall colours, while the crystal adds formality and light reflection without the visual weight of a traditional multi-tier chandelier. The fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible E14 dimmable LED bulbs, allowing output to be reduced for evening ambience or increased for task lighting during meals.
