The Vivienne is a 17cm diameter crystal pendant light built around a cylindrical polished nickel frame with clear crystal panels arranged vertically around a single E14 bulb fitting. Each panel is cut with a cross-hatch surface pattern that refracts light into multiple directions when the bulb is lit, creating a textured glow that projects onto surrounding surfaces.

Designed for lower ceiling heights and smaller spaces, the Vivienne works above bedside tables, in hallways, over breakfast bar ends, and in WCs where a single pendant provides enough light without dominating the room. The 350mm minimum drop suits ceilings from 2.2m upwards, and the chain can be extended to 1300mm for higher ceilings or stairwell positions. The 170mm diameter keeps the fitting compact enough for narrow halls and alcoves.

The polished nickel frame reflects light back through the crystal panels and provides a cooler metallic accent that pairs with chrome taps, brushed steel handles and contemporary mirror frames. The crystal panels sit in a cage arrangement around the central bulb holder, with curved metal arms at top and bottom fixing each panel in place. When unlit the fitting reads as a structured geometric object rather than disappearing into the ceiling.

What bulb does it take?

The Vivienne takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 20W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED candle bulb in 2700K warm white for ambient lighting, or a clear filament bulb where the decorative element of the bulb adds to the overall look.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit a dimmable bulb and pair it with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no electronics that would prevent dimming.

What ceiling height does it need?

The minimum drop is 350mm from ceiling rose to the bottom of the fitting, so a 2.2m ceiling height is the practical minimum. The chain extends to 1300mm for higher ceilings or positions above staircases.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe each crystal panel with a dry microfibre cloth. For marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal frame or letting water sit on the polished nickel.
