Description

The Vision is a 6-light chandelier built around a symmetrical gold aluminium frame with six radiating arms, each supporting a dual-layer glass shade. The inner frosted glass diffuses the light from the E14 bulb, while the outer clear glass casing protects the diffuser and adds depth to the light output. The chandelier measures 96cm in diameter and uses two black fabric-covered cables for suspension, giving it a balanced, floating appearance when installed.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Vision provides ambient illumination rather than directional task light. The adjustable drop ranges from 23.5cm to 154cm, allowing the fitting to be set 70-90cm above a dining table or lowered further in double-height spaces. The six E14 bulbs (sold separately) are individually switched via a wall switch, so the chandelier operates as a single zone rather than offering separate control over individual lights.

The gold finish on the aluminium arms and canopy is a warm brushed tone rather than a high-polish, reducing glare and pairing well with both warm neutrals and darker wall colours. The 96cm diameter requires clearance — the fitting works best over a table at least 1.6m long or in an entrance hall with a floor area of 3m x 3m minimum. Each glass shade is approximately 20cm in diameter, with the frosted inner layer softening the light pattern and reducing direct glare when the chandelier is viewed from below.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight manageable for standard ceiling roses, and the IP20 rating confirms this is an indoor-only fitting. The two-cable suspension system distributes the load evenly and allows the frame to hang level without requiring manual adjustment during installation.

What bulbs does it take?

The Vision takes six E14 small Edison screw bulbs, rated up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or living room light.

Is the height adjustable?

Yes. The drop is adjustable between 23.5cm and 154cm during installation by shortening or lengthening the suspension cables. For a dining table the chandelier typically hangs 70-90cm above the surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.7m.

What room size does it suit?

The 96cm diameter works best over dining tables at least 1.6m long, or in entrance halls and living rooms with a floor area of 3m x 3m minimum. Smaller rooms may find the chandelier visually overwhelming.

Can the glass shades be cleaned?

Yes. The outer clear glass and inner frosted glass can be wiped with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal fittings and do not use chemical sprays or polishes on the gold aluminium frame.
