Vireon LED Large Alabaster Chandelier - Bronze & Soft White

The Vireon is a 1000mm alabaster chandelier built around an octagonal ring of natural Spanish alabaster, held by bronze brackets at each external corner and suspended from the ceiling on four slender cables. An integrated LED inside the ring runs a continuous 3000K warm white light through the stone, lighting the alabaster from within rather than projecting downward.

Designed for dining tables, lounge seating areas and transitional zones with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Vireon needs space around it to read properly as a sculptural ring. The 2000mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, allowing the fixture to be set 700-800mm above a dining table or higher above lounge seating where it acts as ambient rather than task light. A small hexagonal bronze ceiling canopy conceals the wiring at the rose.

Each alabaster panel shows different mineral veining and tonal variation, so the ring lights with subtle differences in translucency around its eight sides. The bronze brackets are deliberately rough-finished, contrasting the smooth polished alabaster against an earthier metal tone. At 1m diameter this is a substantial fitting suited to rooms of 16m² and above, or over dining tables seating six or more.

The cable suspension keeps the visual mass low and concentrated at the ring itself, so the fitting reads as a floating halo rather than a heavy chandelier. This works well in rooms where ceiling height allows the drop but the architecture is otherwise restrained.

What ceiling height does the Vireon need?

The 2000mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, so the fitting suits ceilings of 2.7m and above. Over a dining table the ring typically sits 700-800mm above the surface; over lounge seating it hangs higher to act as ambient light without obstructing sightlines.

Is the LED replaceable?

The 3000K LED is integrated into the alabaster ring rather than using a removable bulb. Integrated LED arrays are designed for long service life and do not require routine replacement during normal use.

Does each alabaster ring look the same?

No. The eight panels are cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, mineral inclusion and translucency vary between individual chandeliers and between sections of the same ring. This natural variation is part of the material rather than a defect.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe the alabaster gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid water, household sprays and chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble. The bronze brackets can be dusted with the same cloth.
