Description

The Viora is a 600mm linear LED track light with an integrated 12W 3000K LED, designed to mount magnetically onto compatible track systems. The extruded aluminium profile, finished in black powder coat, sits 15mm proud of the track and attaches via magnetic coupling rather than mechanical clips, allowing the light to be repositioned along the track run without tools.

Designed for retail, gallery, residential kitchen and home office installations where flexibility in light positioning matters, the Viora can be moved, rotated or swapped with other magnetic track fixtures as a room layout changes. The magnetic mounting works with Ideal Lux magnetic track systems (sold separately) which can be surface-mounted to ceilings or recessed into plasterboard. The 600mm length suits accent lighting, shelf highlighting and task lighting where a longer linear wash is needed than a single spotlight provides.

The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white light suited to residential and hospitality interiors. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible mains dimmer (dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model used). The black powder-coated aluminium finish pairs with matt black, graphite and dark-toned interiors, and the slim 15mm projection keeps the fitting visually recessive against a dark ceiling.

The IP20 rating limits the Viora to dry indoor locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use. The 5-year warranty covers the integrated LED and aluminium body. The light output and exact lumen rating are detailed in the Specification table below.

Does this work with existing track lighting systems?

The Viora requires an Ideal Lux magnetic track system to function. It does not attach to standard three-circuit spotlight tracks or other manufacturers' magnetic systems. The compatible track is sold separately.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible mains dimmer. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — Ideal Lux recommends testing with the dimmer before final installation, or contact us for confirmed compatible models.

Can it be repositioned once installed?

Yes. The magnetic mounting allows the light to be slid along the track, rotated, or removed and repositioned without tools. This makes it straightforward to adjust the lighting layout as furniture or display arrangements change.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Viora to dry indoor locations. It is not rated for bathroom zones or any location where moisture or water spray is present.
