Description
The Violla is a 73cm flush-mount LED ceiling light formed from layered, petal-shaped sheets of white Opalflex that fold outwards from a central bloom. An integrated 21W 3000K LED sits behind the diffuser sheets, casting warm light through the translucent material so the fixture itself becomes the light source. At 23cm deep and 1.5kg, it sits close to the ceiling without the projection of a conventional pendant.
Designed for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards, the Violla is well-suited to bedrooms, hallways, landings and relaxed living areas where a hanging pendant would feel too low. The flush profile makes it one of the more sculptural options among ceiling lights for low ceilings, giving texture and form without intruding into head height. The 150cm internal cable allows flexibility during installation onto a standard UK ceiling rose.
Opalflex is a recyclable thermoplastic that holds curved, three-dimensional shapes while staying lightweight and shatter-resistant. Each petal is moulded to refract and soften the LED output, so the light spreads evenly across the diffuser surface rather than producing hot spots. The clean white finish reads as a neutral against painted plaster, exposed brick, or timber ceilings, and pairs comfortably with monochrome, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors.

Frequently Asked
Is the Violla suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. At 23cm deep it's a flush-mount fixture rather than a pendant, so it sits close to the ceiling. It works well in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards where a hanging light would feel too low.
Does it come with the LED, or do I need to buy a bulb?
The Violla has an integrated 21W 3000K LED built in. There is no separate bulb to buy or replace — the LED module is part of the fixture.
What is Opalflex and how does it perform?
Opalflex is a lightweight, recyclable thermoplastic used to form the curved petal sheets. It's shatter-resistant, holds its sculptural shape, and diffuses the LED output evenly across the surface rather than producing visible hot spots.
How is it cleaned?
With the power isolated and the fixture cool, dust the petals with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For marks, use a barely-damp cloth with mild soapy water and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can dull the Opalflex surface.
