Description
The Vintner is a 3-light semi-flush ceiling fitting with a satin nickel metal frame and three opal etched glass shades arranged in a downward-facing bowl configuration. Each shade houses an E27 bulb (sold separately, up to 60W per bulb), with the etched glass diffusing the light output to reduce glare. The 295mm drop from ceiling to base makes it suitable for standard ceiling heights of 2.4m without dominating headroom.
Designed for kitchens, dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms where a flush or near-flush fitting is preferred over a pendant, the Vintner provides ambient downlight across a 3-4m room. The three arms are arranged asymmetrically, with shorter arms at the top and longer arms below, creating a tapered silhouette when viewed from the side. The satin nickel finish is a mid-tone brushed metal that sits between polished chrome and pewter, pairing with both warm and cool colour schemes.
The opal etched glass has a frosted texture that conceals the bulb filament when lit, giving a softer appearance than clear glass alternatives. The 369mm diameter fits standard UK ceiling roses and the metal canopy conceals the wiring. At 60W maximum per socket, the fitting works with LED, halogen or traditional filament E27 bulbs, allowing control over light temperature and energy consumption.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Vintner takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for general ambient light.
Is it suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. The 295mm drop from ceiling to the base of the lowest shade means the fitting projects approximately 300mm into the room once installed, making it well-suited to standard 2.4m ceiling heights without dominating headroom or creating a collision risk.
What size room does it suit?
The 369mm diameter and 3-bulb configuration provide sufficient ambient downlight for rooms up to 3-4m square, such as small-to-medium kitchens, dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms. Larger spaces may benefit from pairing with secondary task lighting.
Is the glass replaceable if damaged?
The opal etched glass shades are fixed to the metal arms with metal collars. Feiss may supply replacement shades as spare parts — contact Niori or Feiss directly to confirm availability for this model.
