Description

The Knightsbridge Viiva is a 1200mm (4ft) linear LED fitting with selectable wattage output (17W, 20W, 34W or 36W) and three CCT colour temperature settings (3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, 5700K daylight). Both wattage and CCT are adjusted via switches on the fitting before installation, allowing one product to serve multiple lighting requirements across different rooms and applications. The integrated LED delivers between 1370lm and 3155lm depending on the wattage and CCT combination selected.

Designed for commercial and office installation, the Viiva suits open-plan offices, meeting rooms, retail displays, corridors and reception areas where consistent linear light is needed without ceiling recesses. The fitting can be surface-mounted directly onto ceilings or suspended on cables, and the 1200mm length pairs well with 1200mm ceiling grid systems common in UK commercial interiors. The UGR19 rating at low output reduces glare on computer screens and workspaces, making it suitable for desk-height visual tasks.

The matt black aluminium body provides both thermal management for the LED driver and a contemporary architectural finish that pairs with black metalwork and exposed services ceilings. The 63mm height and 48mm width give a slim profile that sits close to the ceiling when surface-mounted. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor spaces, and the Class I earthed construction requires connection to mains earth. The fitting is compatible with Knightsbridge's optional emergency kit (sold separately) for applications requiring maintained emergency lighting.

How do I select the wattage and colour temperature?

Both wattage and CCT are adjusted via DIP switches on the LED driver before the fitting is powered on. Once set, the configuration remains fixed unless the fitting is de-energised and the switches changed. Instructions for switch positions are provided in the installation guide linked in the Downloads tab.

Can the Viiva be dimmed?

No. This model is non-dimmable. Attempting to connect it to a dimmer circuit may damage the driver or cause flicker.

What mounting options are available?

The fitting can be surface-mounted directly onto ceilings using the integrated brackets, or suspended on cables (suspension kit sold separately). The 1200mm length aligns with standard 1200mm modular ceiling grid systems.

Is emergency lighting available?

Yes. The Viiva is compatible with Knightsbridge's optional emergency kit (product code available via the link in the Description section), which converts the fitting to maintained emergency operation for fire safety compliance.
