Description

The Vienna is a three-arm crystal wall light built around a cast metal back plate and three scrolled arms in an antique bronze finish. Each arm carries a clear K9 crystal bobeche and an ivory candle sleeve over an E12 lamp holder, with kite-cut and pear-shaped crystal drops suspended from the arms and centre boss. A swag of octagonal crystal beads links the outer arms across the lower body.

At 43.2cm tall by 38.1cm wide, the Vienna sits in the small-to-mid wall light range and works well flanking a fireplace, either side of a bedroom headboard, in formal dining rooms, hallways and stairwell landings. The 21.6cm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of head height in most circulation routes. Three E12 candle bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately) provide warm, multi-source light that the crystals catch and scatter across the surrounding wall.

The aged bronze finish on the cast frame brings out the Rococo-style scrollwork and acanthus detailing on the arms and central boss, giving the fitting a traditional period character rather than a polished modern look. The K9 crystal is hand-cut leaded glass with high clarity and refractive sparkle, and the mix of kite drops, pear drops and faceted beads gives the lower silhouette a layered, tiered profile. Total weight is 3.2kg, fixed through the back plate to a standard wall box.

What bulbs does the Vienna take?

The fitting takes three E12 candle bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Clear or tinted candle-shape bulbs around 4-6W LED in 2700K warm white work well with the K9 crystal, giving sparkle without overpowering the room.

What is K9 crystal?

K9 is a high-grade leaded glass with strong optical clarity and refractive index. Each drop on the Vienna is hand-cut and faceted so it catches light from the candle bulbs and projects it across the surrounding wall.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs fitted. Paired with dimmable LED candle bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer, the Vienna will dim. Standard incandescent E12 candle bulbs are also dimmable on most legacy dimmer circuits.

How is it cleaned?

Switch the circuit off at the consumer unit and let the bulbs cool. Dust the crystals with a soft microfibre cloth or a clean make-up brush. For heavier marks, wipe individual drops with a barely-damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the metal frame, as residue can dull the antique bronze finish over time.
