Description

The Victor is a 580mm table lamp built around a high-gloss red ceramic base paired with a 340mm cream faux silk hardback drum shade. The ceramic base carries a rich, glossy red glaze that reflects ambient light, while the polished chrome neck and fittings provide a modern accent between base and shade. The lamp takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately).

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and occasional tables in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, the Victor provides ambient lighting through the cream shade while the red ceramic base adds a controlled accent of colour. The 340mm base diameter gives the lamp stability on surfaces 400mm wide or greater, and the 580mm overall height positions the shade at a comfortable level for reading when placed on a standard 500-600mm bedside table.

The red glaze on the ceramic base has depth and variation typical of kiln-fired porcelain, giving the finish a warmer, less flat appearance than painted metal. What bulb does the Victor take?

The lamp uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for bedside or living room use.

Is the shade removable for bulb changes?

Yes. The cream drum shade lifts off the spider fitting to access the E27 lampholder for bulb installation and replacement.

What surface size does it need?

The 190mm base diameter means the lamp footprint is compact, but the 340mm shade diameter requires a surface at least 400mm wide to avoid overhang. Bedside tables, console tables and occasional tables of 450-600mm width are typical placements.

Does the ceramic base show fingerprints?

The high-gloss finish can show fingerprints and dust more readily than matt finishes. A dry microfibre cloth removes marks easily without needing polish or cleaners.
