Description

The Vibe is a 300mm square flush ceiling light with an integrated LED module delivering 4000K cool white output through an opal plastic diffuser. The white powder-coated aluminium base sits 20mm from the ceiling surface, providing even illumination across bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and utility rooms where a low-profile fitting is needed.

Rated IP65, the fitting is sealed against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2, shower rooms, and sheltered outdoor canopies where moisture exposure is regular. The non-dimmable LED is integrated into the housing and does not require separate bulbs, reducing ongoing maintenance once installed. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm and daylight white, providing functional task lighting without the warmer tone of 3000K residential fittings.

The square aluminium frame measures 300mm on each side with minimal projection, allowing it to sit flush in rooms with low ceiling clearances or where a recessed look is preferred without cutting into the ceiling structure. The opal diffuser spreads light evenly without visible LED hotspots, avoiding the harsh glare that can occur with bare chip-on-board LED fittings. The white finish integrates cleanly with white-painted ceilings and suits contemporary, minimalist and functional interior schemes.

Can this be used in a bathroom shower area?

Yes. The IP65 rating means the fitting is protected against water jets from any direction and is suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2, including positions directly above a shower enclosure or bath.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of use, which translates to around 10-15 years of typical residential operation before dimming becomes noticeable.

What is the colour temperature like?

4000K is a cool white, sitting between the warmer 3000K residential tone and the daylight 5000K+ commercial tone. It provides functional task lighting without the yellow warmth of traditional halogen, making it well-suited to bathrooms, utility rooms and kitchens.
