Description

The VEXA is a 1500mm surface-mounted linear LED fitting delivering 3500lm at 4000K cool white through a prismatic diffuser, rated UGR19 to reduce screen glare in task-focused environments. The fitting integrates a 30W LED module with a constant-current driver, drawing from 230V mains and housed in a white-finished pressed steel and polycarbonate body measuring 120mm wide by 59mm projection.

Designed for schools, offices, healthcare facilities and retail spaces where uniform overhead lighting is needed without excessive glare, the VEXA mounts directly onto ceiling or wall surfaces without requiring a separate backplate or trunking in all installations. The lower section of the housing is removable, allowing the fitting to sit flush when used with modular trunking systems and eliminating visible gaps between runs. The adaptable terminal block accepts conduit entry from either end or the centre, giving flexibility when aligning with existing wiring.

Push-fit loop-in/loop-out terminals and a hinged gear tray allow installation and servicing to be carried out without removing the fitting from the ceiling once mounted. The 90-degree beam angle distributes light evenly across worktop and desk surfaces, while the UGR19 rating keeps reflected glare low on monitor screens and paperwork. The LED module is rated to L70B50 at 50,000 hours, meaning the light output remains above 70% of its original brightness for approximately 11 years of continuous use.

The white finish integrates cleanly into modern office and educational interiors with white or light-coloured ceilings. The fitting carries an IP20 rating, suitable for dry indoor environments, and is classified as Class I, requiring earthing during installation. The LED is non-dimmable and outputs 5000lm at source, with 3500lm delivered through the diffuser.
