Vespera Large Outdoor Spotlight - Grey Cast Aluminium

The Vespera is a large outdoor spotlight with a grey painted cast aluminium body, an adjustable head, and a transparent Pyrex glass diffuser protecting a single E27 bulb fitting. The IP65 rating provides full dust protection and resistance to water jets from any direction, making it suitable for ground mounting in driveways, garden beds, or wall mounting to uplight building facades and garden features.

Designed for residential driveways, commercial building perimeters, and architectural lighting in hospitality settings, the Vespera's adjustable head rotates and tilts on a stainless steel pivot joint, allowing the beam to be directed up walls, across paths, or onto planting. The spotlight mounts on a base plate that can be fixed to hard surfaces or set into soft ground using a ground spike (sold separately). The 155mm head diameter and 250mm projection give the fitting enough physical presence to balance against taller planting or boundary walls.

The cast aluminium construction resists corrosion and impact damage better than pressed steel alternatives, and the grey powder-coat finish sits neutrally against concrete paving, rendered walls, and modern cladding materials. The Pyrex glass diffuser withstands thermal shock from rain hitting a hot bulb, and the sealed lamp compartment prevents moisture ingress even when the fitting is angled upwards. The spotlight accepts any E27 LED, halogen or low-energy bulb up to the maximum wattage stated in the specification (bulb sold separately), and dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb and dimmer model chosen.

What does the IP65 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP65 provides full protection against dust ingress and resistance to water jets from any direction. The Vespera can be installed in exposed positions including ground-level garden beds, driveways, and wall-mounted positions without requiring additional shelter from rain.

What bulb does the Vespera take?

The spotlight takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb rated for outdoor use, typically between 8-15W and 2700K-3000K for garden and architectural lighting.

Can the light direction be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The head rotates and tilts on a stainless steel pivot joint, allowing the beam to be redirected after the base is fixed. This is useful for seasonal changes in planting or when adjusting the light to avoid glare into windows.

Is a ground spike included?

The Vespera ships with a base plate for fixing to hard surfaces. If you need to mount the spotlight in soft ground or a garden bed, a compatible ground spike is sold separately.
