Description

The Vesper is a double-cone wall light with two opposing E14 bulb fittings housed in matt black conical shades lined with gold leaf. Each cone rotates independently on a central brass joint, allowing the upward and downward light beams to be angled towards different wall surfaces, artwork or architectural features. The wall plate and central connector are finished in polished brass.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and hotel corridor lighting, the Vesper casts two pools of warm reflected light onto opposing wall surfaces rather than direct light into a room. The gold lining inside each cone turns whatever bulb colour you install into warmer reflected light, while the matt black exterior absorbs ambient light and reduces the fitting's visual mass on the wall. The 18cm projection from the wall and 32cm overall height suit standard residential ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m.

The rotatable cones are set on brass ball joints, allowing each shade to be angled up to approximately 45 degrees from vertical in any radial direction. This means the upper cone can be aimed at a ceiling corner while the lower cone highlights a skirting or floor surface, or both can be angled symmetrically to frame a centred artwork. The IP20 rating restricts the Vesper to dry indoor areas only — bathrooms and outdoor locations are not suitable.
