Verity 1 Light Wall Light - Polished Chrome

The Verity is a 506mm tall wall light built around a polished chrome arm that holds a diamond-cut glass shade at the top. The shade sits in an upward-facing cup, allowing the 3W LED G9 bulb inside to cast light both upwards through the glass and downwards as wash light on the wall below. The diamond faceting on the glass adds texture and diffuses the light into a softer pattern than a plain shade would.

IP44 rated for bathroom zones 2 and 3, the Verity handles moisture from showers and baths while also working in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms where wall-mounted accent lighting is needed. The 200mm projection from the wall keeps the shade and bulb clear of shower spray when mounted in a bathroom recess or above a vanity unit. The polished chrome finish provides a high-gloss metallic surface that reflects ambient light and pairs with chrome taps, shower fittings and modern sanitaryware.

The Verity comes with a 3W LED G9 bulb at 3000K colour temperature fitted from the factory, so no separate bulb purchase is needed. The G9 fitting is a small push-and-twist cap that sits inside the glass cup, making replacement straightforward when the bulb eventually reaches end-of-life. The chrome arm tapers from a rectangular wall plate to a slimmer stem, giving the fitting a lighter profile than solid-bar designs while maintaining structural strength. The 126mm width at the wall plate means the fitting sits well on plasterboard or tile without needing oversized back plates.

Can the Verity be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating means the Verity is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, which covers areas outside the immediate shower enclosure or bath tub. It handles moisture and steam but should not be installed directly inside a shower cubicle or above a bath where it would be subject to direct water jets.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. The Verity includes a 3W LED G9 bulb at 3000K colour temperature fitted from the factory. The bulb is replaceable when it reaches end-of-life.

What direction does the light go?

The glass shade sits in an upward-facing cup, so light travels both upwards through the diamond-cut glass and downwards onto the wall below the fitting. This creates both ambient ceiling wash and downward accent lighting.

How is the glass cleaned?

The diamond-cut glass can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and dried immediately. For chrome surfaces, use a soft dry cloth to avoid water marks. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on both the glass and the polished chrome finish.
