Description

The Veradex is a 720mm table lamp built around two stacked blocks of green marble, separated and capped by brushed brass detailing and finished with a white drum shade. A brass stem rises from the upper marble block to the shade, topped by a small spherical brass finial. The lamp uses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) and stands on a 400 x 200mm rectangular brass base.

Designed for console tables, sideboards and bedroom dressers, the Veradex suits rooms where a sculptural table lamp is wanted alongside a sofa or bed rather than purely as task light. The 720mm height places the shade at a comfortable level for ambient light next to a seated reading position. The white PVC drum shade diffuses light evenly outward and downward, making the lamp suitable as a secondary light source in living rooms and hallways.

The two marble blocks are cut from natural green stone with pale veining and lighter mineral inclusions running through the surface, so the pattern varies between individual lamps. Slim brass bands separate the upper and lower blocks and seat the marble onto the base, breaking up the stone mass and reinforcing the architectural, stacked geometry. The brushed brass finish reads as warm without being highly reflective, pairing comfortably with both deep green and neutral interiors.

The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K pairs well with the green marble and brass for ambient light on a sideboard or console.

Does the marble vary between lamps?

Yes. The blocks are cut from natural green marble, so the veining, pale mineral inclusions and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.

What are the overall dimensions?

How is the marble cleaned?
