Description

The Venturi is a 50cm ceiling fan light with four retractable clear acrylic blades that fold flush against the white metal body when the motor is switched off, leaving only a circular low-profile fitting visible from below. When the motor runs, centrifugal force extends the blades outward to their full span, creating airflow without the visual bulk of a traditional fixed-blade ceiling fan. The integrated 36W LED sits behind an opal acrylic diffuser, providing both task and ambient light with adjustable colour temperature from warm 2700K to cool daylight 5000K.

Designed for bedrooms, home offices and living rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.8m, the Venturi addresses the common issue of ceiling fans dominating a room's appearance when not in use. The 6-speed DC motor runs quieter than conventional AC motors and includes reverse rotation for winter use, where upward airflow pushes warm air back down from the ceiling without creating a direct draft. Breeze mode varies speed automatically to simulate natural wind patterns; memory mode restores the last-used settings on power-up; timer mode switches the unit off after a set interval.

The white powder-coated metal housing is 35cm tall from ceiling to diffuser base when flush-mounted, with an optional 15cm drop rod available separately to suit higher ceilings. The fan weighs 8.43kg and mounts to a standard UK ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard fixing rated for dynamic loads. The remote control manages fan speed, rotation direction, light brightness and CCT adjustment without requiring a wall switch, though the unit can also be wired to a standard on/off wall switch if preferred.
