Description

The Vento Maxi is an 80cm ceiling fan with integrated CCT LED lighting and retractable clear acrylic blades that fold inward when the fan is switched off. The white metal housing contains a 70W integrated LED array behind an opal diffuser, providing adjustable colour temperature from warm white 3000K to cool daylight 6500K. The DC motor drives the fan at six speeds forward or reverse, with the retractable blade mechanism deploying the four blades only when airflow is required.

Designed for large living rooms, open-plan kitchen-diners and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Vento Maxi combines cooling, heating circulation and ambient lighting in a single fitting. The reverse mode pushes warm air down from the ceiling in winter, while forward mode provides direct cooling airflow in summer. The CCT function allows the light temperature to be adjusted from task-suitable daylight white during the day to warmer ambient tones in the evening. Remote control with timer and memory functions is included, allowing speed, light level and colour temperature to be preset and recalled.

The 55cm drop from ceiling to blade level requires adequate clearance below — most installations benefit from ceiling heights of 2.8m or more to maintain safe headroom once the blades deploy. The 20.5kg weight needs secure ceiling joist mounting or a ceiling rose rated for fan loads. The DC motor operates quietly at low and medium speeds, with noise levels rising slightly at speeds 5 and 6 under full cooling load. The opal acrylic diffuser spreads the 5600 lumen output evenly across the room, eliminating the central hot-spot typical of bare LED arrays.

Frequently Asked

What ceiling height is needed for safe installation?

The 55cm drop from ceiling to deployed blade level requires a minimum ceiling height of 2.7m to maintain safe clearance, though 2.8m or above is recommended for comfortable headroom in rooms where people stand beneath the fan.

Is the LED dimmable and does the colour temperature adjust?

Yes. The integrated 70W LED is fully dimmable via the included remote control, and the CCT function allows colour temperature adjustment between 3000K warm white and 6500K cool daylight white to suit different times of day or task requirements.

How does the retractable blade mechanism work?

When the fan motor is off, the four clear acrylic blades fold inward and upward into the white housing, presenting a flush circular profile on the ceiling. When the motor starts, centrifugal force deploys the blades outward into their full 80cm span.

What's the difference between forward and reverse modes?

Forward mode pushes air downward for direct cooling in summer. Reverse mode draws air upward, creating gentle circulation that pushes warm air trapped at ceiling level back down into the room during winter without creating a cold draft.
