Description

The Venize is a 120cm linear bar pendant with four cylindrical smoked glass shades suspended from a satin black metal canopy on adjustable textile cables. Each shade houses an E27 bulb (sold separately) inside a blurred smoked glass cylinder with a matt black metal collar, diffusing light outward and downward while softening glare from exposed filament bulbs.

Designed for installation above dining tables 180-240cm long or kitchen islands between 1.8-2.4m, the Venize provides distributed task and ambient light across the length of the worksurface or table. The four drop points are evenly spaced along the 120cm canopy, with each textile cable adjustable between 40cm and 160cm total drop from ceiling to shade base, allowing the fitting to be tailored to ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. The IP20 rating limits the Venize to dry indoor locations.

The smoked glass has a frosted, translucent finish that hides the internal lampholder and wiring while allowing warm light to glow through the cylinder walls. The satin black metal frame and collars provide a contemporary industrial accent that pairs with both warm-toned timber dining tables and cooler grey or white kitchen islands. At 4.2kg total weight the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings into a joist or suitable anchor point, not plasterboard alone.

The E27 lampholders accept standard Edison screw LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs up to 20W each (4x20W total load). Most users pair the Venize with warm-white LED filament bulbs at 6-8W and 2700K to balance ambient glow with sufficient task light for dining or food preparation.
