The Velox is a 4m outdoor string light system carrying five E27 bulb holders on a black cable, designed for garden, patio and terrace lighting. Each bulb holder hangs from the main cable on a short drop, spaced at roughly 1m intervals along the 4.04m total span. The cable itself is rated IP44 for outdoor use in UK weather conditions, offering protection against rain and wind-blown dust.

Designed for outdoor dining areas, garden boundaries, pergolas and courtyard entertaining spaces, the Velox works as festoon lighting where soft ambient illumination is needed across a 3-4m run. The system is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable E27 LED bulbs, allowing control over brightness from full output to low-level mood lighting. The 3.03m cable run from the mains connection to the first bulb provides flexibility in positioning the string between a power source and the area to be lit.

The black cable and black bulb holders give the Velox a neutral industrial aesthetic that sits comfortably against brick, timber pergolas, stone walls and rendered surfaces without drawing attention when unlit. Bulbs are sold separately, allowing you to choose the colour temperature (2700K warm white or 3000K soft white), output and style (clear filament or frosted globe) that suits the space. Can the Velox be left outdoors all year?

Yes. The cable and bulb holders carry an IP44 rating, meaning they are protected against rain and wind-blown dust.
