The Velos is a 14-light cluster pendant that suspends fourteen translucent spiral acrylic shades from a 70cm satin rose-gold canopy. Each shade is formed from micro-printed methacrylate that mimics the folds of a ribbon, with an etched surface that diffuses the integrated 3000K LED light through the material. The shades hang on field-cuttable cables, allowing the drop to be adjusted between 80cm and 270cm during installation depending on ceiling height and the desired cascade effect.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, over dining tables in rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or more, and mezzanine voids where vertical space allows a longer drop, the Velos functions as both ambient and decorative lighting. The fourteen individual LED modules combine to produce 4.1lm total output at 68W, controlled via an included RF remote that provides flicker-free dimming without needing to wire a physical dimmer switch. The pendant suits spaces where the fitting will be viewed from multiple levels or angles, as the spiral shades catch light differently when seen from above, below, or the side.

The rose-gold finish on the canopy and cable terminations provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with marble surfaces, dark timber joinery, and matte-black hardware in contemporary and luxury interiors. The micro-printed acrylic shades weigh considerably less than glass equivalents, keeping the total fitting weight at 16.44kg despite the visual volume of fourteen separate elements. The IP20 rating limits the pendant to dry indoor locations only. Installation requires connection to a standard UK ceiling rose and access to the canopy for the remote receiver pairing process.

The remote control allows brightness adjustment from full output down to a low glow, useful for dialling the pendant back during daylight hours or when the space is being used for different activities. The cables are field-cuttable, meaning they can be shortened on site to create a tighter cluster configuration or left at full length for a cascading waterfall effect — the choice is made during fitting based on the room's proportions and the client's preference.

Is the Velos dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED driver is controlled via the included RF remote, which provides flicker-free dimming from full brightness down to a low glow. No physical wall dimmer is required.

What ceiling height is needed?

The cables are adjustable between 80cm and 270cm, making the pendant suitable for ceiling heights from approximately 2.7m upwards. For double-height spaces or mezzanines with ceilings above 4m, the full 270cm drop creates the intended cascading effect.

Can the cables be shortened after installation?

The cables are field-cuttable, meaning they can be trimmed during installation to achieve the desired drop length or cluster configuration. Once cut, they cannot be lengthened again, so final heights should be measured before trimming.

What is the total light output?

The fourteen LED modules combine to produce 4.1lm at 68W total power consumption. The 3000K colour temperature provides warm white light, with a CRI above 90 for accurate colour rendering.
