Description

The Vela is a 76cm crystal chandelier with eight candle-style E14 bulbs arranged on curved polished chrome arms, each arm decorated with concave-cut crystal droplets that hang in cascading strands beneath the lamp holders. The central chrome column supports the frame, with additional crystal drops suspended from the core to add depth and refraction when lit.

Designed for dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the chandelier requires a drop of at least 850mm from ceiling rose to base of crystal (maximum 2350mm adjustable on installation). The 76cm diameter suits tables up to 180cm long or rooms up to 4.5m square without the fitting overwhelming the space. The polished chrome finish reflects both daylight and lamp light, adding brightness to rooms with south or west-facing windows.

Each concave-cut crystal pendalogue is individually hung on a chrome link, allowing the droplets to move slightly in air currents and catch light from multiple angles. The combined weight of chrome frame and crystal is 8.9kg, requiring a ceiling rose or mounting point rated for at least 10kg. The chandelier accepts any E14 candle bulb up to 60W per socket (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose filament-style warm bulbs for traditional interiors or LED candle bulbs for lower running costs.

Avoid spraying water or cleaner directly onto the chrome frame or electrical components.
