Description

The Varas is a 50cm cylindrical pendant light with a slender gold metal tube housing an integrated dimmable 5W LED and an opal acrylic diffuser running the full length of the cylinder. The 8cm-diameter tube casts 450 lumens of warm 3000K light through the opal acrylic, creating a vertical column of diffused ambient light. The drop is adjustable on installation from 65cm minimum to 140cm maximum, allowing the pendant to suit different ceiling heights.

Designed for dining areas, kitchen islands, hallways and living rooms where vertical accent lighting is needed, the Varas works as a solo pendant above a small table or in multiples spaced along a kitchen island or hallway run. The narrow 8cm diameter minimises visual bulk while the 50cm height provides enough presence to register as a focal point. The dimmable LED allows the light level to be adjusted from full 450-lumen output down to a low ambient glow, controlled via a compatible wall dimmer.

The gold finish is a bright polished tone that reflects surrounding light and adds a warm metallic accent to contemporary, mid-century and industrial interiors. The opal acrylic diffuser conceals the LED light source and prevents glare, making the pendant comfortable to view from any angle in the room. At 0.78kg the pendant is light enough for standard ceiling roses and plasterboard fixings. The IP20 rating means the light is for dry indoor use only.
