Description

The Vandalia is a 279mm diameter outdoor pendant light with a black metal globe cage surrounding a seeded glass cylinder and a single E27 lampholder. The pendant hangs from a black ceiling rose on a 1829mm chain, adjustable on installation to drops between 494mm and 2315mm. The IP44 rating allows installation in covered outdoor locations protected from direct rain.

Designed for porches, covered patios, carports and entrance canopies, the Vandalia provides downward task light for steps, doorways and seating areas while the open cage allows the light to spread laterally through the frame. The seeded glass creates a softened halation around the bulb visible from all angles without direct glare. The cage diameter of 279mm suits standard 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights in residential outdoor spaces.

The black powder-coated finish on the metalwork provides corrosion resistance in sheltered outdoor conditions and pairs with black UPVC window frames, slate roofs and dark fascia boards common in UK residential architecture. Can the chain be shortened?

How is the seeded glass cleaned?

The glass cylinder can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried with a lint-free microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a standard glass cleaner. Ensure power is isolated before cleaning and allow the bulb to cool fully.
