Description
The Valora is a 54cm tall, 2-light wall fixture built from a darkened metal frame draped with overlapping cascades of fine brass chain in a matte black finish. Two E14 lamp holders sit behind the chain veil, each accepting a 6W LED (sold separately). The chains hang in two staggered curtains, one starting higher than the other, giving the fitting an asymmetric vertical silhouette of around 20cm wide.
Designed as a wall-mounted accent for hallways, stairwells, dining rooms and bedside positions, the Valora projects roughly 20cm from the wall and casts light through and around the chain layers. The fine chain strands break the light into soft vertical patterns on the surrounding wall while the metal backplate prevents direct backwards spill, keeping the glow contained to the front and sides of the fitting.
The fine chain construction is what defines this piece — hundreds of individual brass links in a soft black finish move slightly with air currents, so the light pattern shifts subtly as the room is used. The 2kg weight is supported by a fixed metal backplate that mounts to a standard UK wall box, and the 230-240V wiring suits direct mains connection. The matte black finish suits graphite, charcoal, dark timber and concrete-toned interiors, and holds its own against deep paint colours without disappearing into them.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Valora take?
The fixture takes 2 x E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs rated up to 6W LED each. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white LED at 2700K-3000K suits the matte black finish and gives a softer glow through the chain veil.
How far does it project from the wall?
The Valora projects approximately 20cm from the wall surface and stands 54cm tall. Allow clearance below the fitting for the chain ends, which hang freely and finish at staggered lengths.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
No. The Valora has no IP rating listed and is intended for dry indoor locations only. It should not be installed in bathroom zones or other damp areas.
Do the chains move or stay fixed?
The fine brass chains hang freely from the top frame and move slightly with air currents, so the light pattern shifts subtly when doors open or people walk past. The chains settle back into a vertical drape when the room is still.
