Description

The Valora is a 19-light chandelier built from cascading brass chains suspended in tiered curves from a champagne-finish metal frame. The structure measures 80cm in diameter with a 115cm drop, and the chain veils fall in irregular layered tiers that taper to a longer chain spire at the base. Nineteen E14 lamps (4W each) sit within the frame, casting light through and across the brass strands rather than directly downward.

Designed for double-height spaces, the Valora suits stairwells, entrance halls, atriums and double-volume living rooms with ceiling heights of 4m or above. The 150cm cable allows the chandelier to be hung at a range of heights depending on the void it occupies, and the long chain spire at the base extends the visual drop beyond the 115cm frame height. At 40kg, installation requires a structural fixing point rated to support the load.

The champagne finish on the upper frame is a warm pale-gold tone that sits between brushed brass and antique brass, pairing with marble, walnut and warm neutral palettes without the high reflectivity of polished brass. The brass chains themselves catch light along their full length, so the fitting reads as a textured volume rather than a fixed silhouette. Movement of air in the room causes subtle shifting in the chain layers.

The chandelier accepts 19 x 4W E14 lamps or alternatively 5W GU10 LEDs depending on the configuration supplied. Lamps are not included. Warm-white lamps between 2700K and 3000K complement the champagne metalwork and bring out the gold tones in the chains; cooler temperatures will shift the visual balance towards silver.

How many bulbs does it take and are they included?

The brass chains can collect dust over time. Light dusting with a soft long-handled brush or a low-suction vacuum with a soft-brush attachment is sufficient. Avoid pulling on the chains or using wet cleaning, as this can disturb the layered formation.
