Description
The Valmora is a 650mm table lamp built around a stacked cylindrical form: a solid white marble base with subtle grey veining, a polished brass mid-section directly above, and a 380mm white PVC drum shade on top. A small brass finial caps the shade, echoing the metallic band below. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately), concealed inside the upper fitting so the external form remains uninterrupted.
Sized for console tables, hallway sideboards, bedside tables and living-room side tables, the Valmora reads as a single architectural column rather than a traditional lamp-and-shade pairing. The 380mm shade casts a wide pool of ambient light suitable for evening reading or as a secondary light source alongside ceiling fixtures. The compact circular footprint sits comfortably on tables 400mm deep or wider without overhanging the edge.
The marble base is honed rather than polished, giving a soft matt surface that contrasts with the high-shine brass section above. Each base is cut from natural marble, so the grey veining pattern varies between individual lamps. The combination of stone, metal and fabric-look PVC shade gives the lamp visible weight in the hand and on the table, anchoring it on softer surfaces such as runners and table linens.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Valmora take?
The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A 6-10W LED in 2700K-3000K warm white pairs well for bedside and side-table use. Check the carton or in-box label for the maximum wattage rating before fitting a bulb.
Is each marble base unique?
Yes. The base is cut from natural marble, so the grey veining pattern, density and tonal variation differ between individual lamps. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.
Is it dimmable?
The lamp itself does not include an integrated dimmer. Dimming is possible by pairing with a dimmable E27 LED bulb and a compatible inline or wall dimmer. Check bulb-and-dimmer compatibility before purchase.
How is the marble cleaned?
Wipe the marble with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus sprays and household polishes, as these can etch the honed surface.
