Description

The Valmera is a 530mm table lamp built around a solid cylindrical white marble column, capped and footed with brushed brass and topped with a tapered white fabric shade. A brushed brass plinth supports the marble base, while a matching brass collar, stem and spherical finial sit above, holding the 280mm shade in line with the column below. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately).

Sized for bedside tables, console tables and side tables next to a sofa or armchair, the Valmera works as ambient and soft task lighting rather than a primary room light. The 530mm overall height suits standard bedside cabinets of 550-650mm and reading-side tables of 500-600mm, placing the shade roughly at seated eye level. The E27 socket accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs, letting the colour temperature be matched to the room.

The marble column shows natural grey-and-cream veining, so each piece varies slightly in pattern and tone. Brushed brass, rather than polished, is used at the plinth, collar and finial — the softer metallic finish reduces glare under bedside reading and pairs more comfortably with warm-white bulbs. The tapered white shade narrows towards the top, throwing light downward onto a reading surface and upward as a softer wash on the ceiling.

The lamp takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, which is sold separately. A 6-10W warm-white LED at 2700K-3000K suits bedside and side-table use; higher wattages can be fitted if more output is needed for reading.

Is the marble base patterned the same on every lamp?

No. The base is cut from natural marble, so the grey and cream veining varies between individual lamps. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.
