Description

The Valeris is a 60cm circular alabaster chandelier built around a continuous ring of natural Spanish alabaster panels, lit from within by a 60W integrated LED. The panels are arranged in two staggered tiers, creating a stepped lower edge where rectangular stone sections overlap at varying heights. A brushed brass canopy and three slim suspension cables support the ring, keeping the visual weight on the stone rather than the metalwork.

At 14cm tall and 60cm in diameter, the Valeris suits dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where a horizontal fitting works better than a tall pendant. The compact 14cm height makes it usable in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, and the suspension cables can be shortened on installation to set the chandelier 70-80cm above a dining surface. Light is distributed evenly around the full circumference, with no bulbs to fit.

Each alabaster panel is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining, cloudy striations and tonal variation between ivory and warmer cream differ across the ring. Honed rather than polished, the surface lets light pass through the stone and pick up the mineral patterns rather than reflecting off it. The brushed brass canopy, brass fixing studs along the upper edge of each panel, and the brass inner frame give a warm metallic counterpoint to the soft white stone.

At 60W the Valeris works as the main light source in a room of around 15 to 20 square metres. Because the LED is part of the fitting there are no lamps to replace over its life, and none of the dark gaps in the ring that appear when an individual bulb fails.

Does the Valeris need bulbs?

No. The LED is integrated into the chandelier rather than a replaceable lamp, so there is nothing to buy separately. The fitting runs at 60W and arrives ready to wire in.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the dimmer model used with the integrated LED driver. Please contact us before wiring the Valeris into a dimmed circuit so we can confirm suitability for your installation.

What ceiling height does it suit?

At 14cm tall, the Valeris is shallow enough for ceilings from 2.4m upwards. The suspension cables are adjusted on installation, allowing the chandelier to sit 70-80cm above a dining table or 80-90cm above a kitchen island depending on room height.

Will the alabaster panels look identical?

No. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, cloudiness and tonal shifts between ivory and warmer cream vary across the ring and between individual chandeliers. This natural variation is a feature of the stone, not a defect.
