Description

The Valencia is a 550mm traditional outdoor down lantern with a hexagonal glazed frame and black powder-coated die-cast aluminium construction. The lantern houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) beneath a pagoda-style roof with a decorative finial, mounted on a curved wall bracket that projects 330mm from the wall. The IP54 rating protects the fitting against dust ingress and water spray from any direction, making it suitable for walls exposed to rain.

Designed for residential entrances, garden pathways, porch areas and courtyard walls, the Valencia directs light downward to illuminate the ground immediately below the fitting. This makes it particularly useful for front door surrounds, garage entrances and steps where downward illumination improves visibility and safety after dark. The 250mm width and 550mm height suit standard residential wall proportions without overwhelming smaller entrance porches.

The die-cast aluminium frame resists corrosion in coastal environments, so the Valencia can be installed in seaside locations without additional treatment. The black powder coating is baked onto the metal during manufacture, giving a consistent matt finish that weathers without flaking. The clear glass panels allow the full output of the bulb to reach the ground below, while the vertical glazing bars and traditional lantern profile recall Victorian street lighting.
